Social and Support Groups

 Women of the ELCA

   Mary/Martha Circle -- meets every 3rd Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.

   Rachel Circle -- meets every 2nd Wednesday at noon - light lunch served

   Ruth Circle -- meets every 3rd Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.

Men in Mission

   They have fellowship and provide services for St. John, the community, and the church worldwide.

   Meets every 3rd Monday at 6:00 p.m. for dinner and a program at the Retreat Center, except for June, July & August

Stephen Ministry

   We are a Stephen Ministries Congregation and periodically train interested members in this Special Caring Ministry.

   Meets every 2nd & 4th Monday at 7:00 p.m.  

Youth & Family Ministry

   Boy Scout Troop #36 -- meets Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. at the Retreat Center

   Senior High Lutheran Youth Organization (LYO), 9th through 12th grade -- monthly activities

   Confirmation, 7th & 8th grades -- meets weekly and have monthly activities

   Shooting Stars, 5th & 6th grades -- have monthly activities

   Really Wonderful Children (RWC), 2nd through 4th grade

Food for Bereaved Family

Emergency Food Pantry  - Collect food for the Bellville Food Panty at Bellville United Methodist Church - Open on the 2nd Thursday of each month.

Nursing Home Services and Communion

Games Day: Skip Bo, Dominoes -- every 2nd Tuesday at 2:00 p.m.

Quilting Group -- every 3rd Monday at 9:15 a.m.

Transportation for 10:30 worship and some medical treatment

Senior Fellowship Day Trips  

Join the Adult Study Group - Sundays at 9:15 am

We, the community of St. John Lutheran Church, are baptized into Christ and called into mission in His name. We share a common faith in God and His promises. Through baptism, God frees us from all that oppresses us; and we are freed for a purpose, to join with Him in His work of humanization and liberation, of salvation and redemption.
